Shantanu Naidu slams Gemini saree trend:These days, the craze of the AI saree trend is increasing rapidly on social media. With the help of the new Nano Banana feature of the Google Gemini app, people are turning their ordinary pictures into amazing portraits. Somewhere a red filmy saree, somewhere hair flying in the wind—people seem to be living their Bollywood fantasy. But Ratan Tata's former manager Shantanu Naidu has made the funniest comment on this trend, which caught everyone's attention.

"You live in India; sarees are in the house itself."

Naidu said jokingly in the video shared on Instagram, "You people live in India, not in America. Here sarees are lying in the cupboard of every house. There must be at least 15 sarees. Still, you are getting the same saree generated by AI that you already have." "Wear a real sari; you will look more beautiful."

He further said jokingly, "You look even better in an original sari. Instead of relying on AI, take it out of the wardrobe, wear the sari, and get a photo taken."

It would have been understandable for a gown, but why for a saree?

Giving an example, Naidu said that if people asked AI to make pictures of wedding gowns, it would have been understandable, because Indians generally do not have gowns. But it is beyond his understanding to use AI for a saree, which is a traditional and common dress of India.

"The dog is beside me; why do we get the photo taken by AI?"

He made another funny comparison—"It is like my dog is sitting next to me and I ask AI to make a photo of him. Hey, he is nearby; sit with him and get a photo taken."

People said, "Finally someone told the truth."

At the end of the video, Naidu clarified that he was saying everything jokingly. Despite this, his lighthearted sarcasm was liked by thousands of users. Many people wrote in the comment box—"He has said absolutely the right thing."
